Ok. This evening me and my guild went to kara. We got the Chrone (wizard of oz) at opera. So i laid down an Snake Trap underneath Dorothee (the first who can attack) and when she started attacking the snakes ofc also attacked.

But then the 3 others started attacking my snakes, but we still couldnt kill them. The curtain then fell down, but we still killed Dorothee and the dog Tito.
But then it resetted... It was very strange and everyone blamed me, because i usually exploit/explore everything everywhere

Anyway, its a good way to piss of guildies or just people you raid with.
I have no idea if it can be useful for something, but it was quite fun.
This has only happened once, but i havent really tried it out. So if someone could confirm it, it would be very sweet.

I will confirm this. I did the same thing figuring I would get a head start on Dorothee and the snakes started attacking everything, the others started attacking my snakes even though they were not supposed to attack yet. The curtain came down and the event reset.

From what I have seen there is no way to use this as an exploit.

The only thing i can think of, on how to use it for something usefull is to restart the event if someone isnt ready. Or it got started when it wasnt supposed to
