ok well i use the people who have antiafk bots in AB and get heaps of honor from them. all you do is run on up to the other teams spawn location and start the farming, make sure to loot the bodies because some afkers wont go to the gy automatically, if you are there by yourself its 21honor per kill and i average 300+ honor per game from just killing afkers. not really an exploit but you exploit them . works best in AB

you get no honor from a character if you kill them 10 times.

yeh, theres normaly more then 1 afker and iv killed people more the 10 times and it says i get honor still :S

In case you didn't know, in BG's the honor discount thingy doesn't count.

The WoWUI Honor Counter does not count diminishing returns. The most accurate way to track your Honor I have found is with HonorFu for FuBar. I did an entire day of premade WSGs, ~300-500 honor for 10min games, almost every game. The mod was only off by about 300 honor (out of 15,000 honor actually earned).

then explain the honor loss after a long day of grinding 13k honor in AV, only to find 11k the next day.

that's why it says "estimated honor" - the server calculates it daily at honor rollback time.

you definitely don't lose those honor points from the guaranteed 62 rep you got for towers and commanders...

and the honor you get after midnight, you get that the next honor update from what i heard.

Exactly Trey.

The best way to test this yourself is to BG two separate days. One day go to a BG (in this case AV) and do your best to get no HKs. If horde come and there are people guarding with you, run for it.

The next day, stay on D and soak up as many HKs as you possibly can.

Assuming the win/loss and bonus honor were the same (should be similar per full day [yes, you'll need to do more than a few games]) you'll notice the estimated honor is WAY off in the BG where you soaked HKs and very accurate in the one where you got very little.

Or for anyone who doesn't want to spend two days in a BG, you can take my word for it

Where do the horde afk in AV the most? I know the allies are in the far north cave.

This probably wouldn't work in AV... that is unless you're able to kill the elite guards at the cave. I'm still skeptical if this would work in AB due to diminishing returns, but if theres 3-5 afkers it could be good. You'd probably be better off only killing them like 4 times each though then resuming to game to get the best honour. You shouldn't do this if there is only one afker, because if you do you're being just as unhelpful to your team as their afker is... so it evens the table. Unless you don't care, then go nuts.

In AV it is the same for the Horde. Typically they afk in the cave that is directly East of Frost Wolf GY though there are several elites inside, almost as if to protect the afkers.
