Wow Tricks A new free soul shard thread! - 01-07-2008
Ok, I have posted before saying how to get a free soul shard from BG but I am back with something different ( dont scream if it has already been posted please, I didn't really check much)

SO! heres what you do! If you have the Abyss shard (Impsy Felwood 50 warlock) once you have the Abyss shard ready to go, SUmmon a Voidwalker THEN tekll your Voidwalker to stay and walk away so far that you get a Soul shard! I have done this dozens of times! its great when I need Soul Stone fast! and you willl not get Sweet huh?

Isn't this common sense, back in the day when my lock did the quest where you get to chose either the void trinket, staff or robes this was pretty well known, that was the sole reason why I, and alot of other people chose the trinket. But I guess if there's still people that don't know about this then it is kinda helpful.

Takes a soul shard to summon a VW right? well, your basically just losing and gaining like...

You had one, you spend it, you get it back but lose what you spent it on...your back to 0

No soul shard required, summon the VW hit stay walk away, free shard. rinse repeat.

30min cooldown kinda sucks. but in a tight spot it might help out, nice find + rep

Seems easier and faster to just kill a mob.
I never got the shard from that quest on my lock anyway and also I extremely rarely end up in the position where I'm out of shards and can't get any more.

sometimes I get sick of having to leave SW in the middle of a party and go all the way to Un'goro to get soulshard so I use this method.
