Alright, So... I was in Karazhan with my guild and we did the opera Event. We got "The Big Bad Wolf". So, we did the event and beat it. I went back to the guy that starts the event and talked to him again. I realized that I was able to start the event again! Needless To say, my guild and I were very happy. I am not sure if this will work with any other event.
Use this before it's fixed!

I did this for about 30 runs. I ended up with about 64 badges and 9ish void crystals. (we DEed everything and split them)

I ended up buying my PvP cloak, which costs 60 badges and enchanted it also.

The next morning I tried to login and found out Blizzard had temp banned me.

Received an email stating that I was caught exploiting the opera event, they took all of the badges left over, the cloak, and the void crystals.

The ONLY reason I was banned was found out later, one of the original ID members had been angry he hadn't gotten in on it, and had reported us. (about half of the group I was in got temp banned for 2 days, the next group that went all received a temp ban).

Just be careful who you tell about what you're doing, and I'm pretty sure this is a random bug.

Never seen him despawn before, i talked to him and this happened before, but everyone had left allready.
ill be sure to try this wit mah guildeez tomorrow and ill let ya know if it worx for us again.

My guild runs Kara this Friday, always hit Opera Event, I'll bring it up, see what happens.

If I can confirm that we can try it twice, I will .

It has to be random, I've done the event before and the guy stays put, but all he says is good show or some shit like that.

I strongly suggest not doing this, we farmed wolf for about 3 hours, some 200 badges, too many voids to count, decent amount of gold, and a 1 week ban and a reprieve of all the items. They now monitor the logs on Opera, so they can catch you very easily now

But i also highly suggest that you dont do this..waste of time that could be used on gearing guildies up or progressing in PvE or just plain old PvP ^^
