Hello, Sorry if this has been posted or im posting in the wrong place.

Im wondering, if there is any way i can move 1 character from an account that is not mine, to my own account? Does blizz really check these? Say, the account i want to move from, is registered to Mr Smith. and my account is registered to Mr Box. Not the same name, or same info. is this possible?

as far as i know, you can only move characters from account to another account only if it is registered to same person =/ sorry mate, if it would be possibile i would already used it several times. but if i am mistaken pls advice the method to use !!

And no, its not possible =/ Has to be the same last name.

Can it be done if ure makign a new wow account and u make it in there name but ure ip cd keys cc camecard etc?

I want to to the same thing to, i was wondering if you can say you got that account before you got married an your last name got changed?

Yes if you set up a new account under "Mr Smith" then you can transfer the char to that account.

I had the same problem with me and my bro. We shared an account and then splitted our accounts, but our last name was diff, so after several days of bugging blizzard, blizzard changed the names and we split.

ya last name must be the same, i tried getting around it but doesnt work =/

You can call Blizz and tell them that your mother/father register the account for you but they are divorced and that your name is now changed to whatever. That should work.

i have tryed this, they asked me to fax in a copy of the notarized name change forum, and a copy of my current ID with the new lastname.

But its still possible.


You can get blank name change form, fill it and fax it to them.
