How to Get Someone Banned *OLD-STYLE*

The Old-Style in the title was just to grab your attention. Here is a great way to get someone banned without implicating yourself at all. For the example, I am going to say you want to get a character "Cralithor" banned. What you do is make a trial account. If you do not know how to do it, google "wow quickstart guide" and click the first link. Once you are on your trial account, make a character cvery similar to Cralithor, accept with an accent. I will name the character Cralíthor (notice the "í" instead of the "i".) Try to make the difference as subtle as possible. Now, I did this with a friend, who also had a slightly accented version of the victims name, but you can do it solo. Go to SW, IF, Org, or UC, whichever is closest to your characters start point. Once you get there, do something naughty. /s swear words, roleplay a rape, etc... I roleplayed a rape very vividly, swearing a lot and just being bad. Hacking is not desired here, because the idea is that other players report you, but either they do not know how to type an accent, or miss the accent all-together, and end reporting (guess who) the victim! I have done this before, and the person got a 3 day ban. It was only 2 days though, because he petitioned it, but it was still great, and all I lost was a trial account.

supposing that you do the scam with an emote,
as in /me <swearwords> they can't right click on the name,
so they have to write it,
if they're going to report you,
and if you've got a 'different' letter in the name,
they can't ignore you either, they'll ignore the victim ^^

/who *area* / race / class / first few letters of name - right click - report.

That's what I usually do.

That only works if you have a lazy GM looking into it, however I can verify that it can happen. I have friends in-game that pull this scam all the time on each other XD

that is retarded, first of all this will never work because GM's Can easily tell the difference in names, also they make sure the character being reported was in fact the one that commited the crimes. If you think that blizz identifies characters just by their name you are really clueless. -2 rep pls

Blizzard doesn't ban people just becuase someone reported them. They REASEARCH the issue, and then if they find something, they ban you. You could have an entire guild report you for something false and you would never get banned.

I doubt this works at all.

Undoubtably, you could get people banned for this, however, they could easily petition it and have the ban removed.
