Pick up the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and mail it to a bank toon after the thirty days then it will be returned. As long as you keep it in the box until you need it, it shouldnt count down. (Source: well it worked with the brooms, why would this one be different)

EDIT I suppose I should say that it gives + 20 stamina, its good for twinks who have friends they always run with. A friend and I both stocked up for each other in BG ;-)

Then any timed item will count down even if its inactive, in the mail, or anywhere else.
