This is just a different way to get your personal rating up over time, not having to worry about losing a tonne of games, especially with Q times atm.
eg. 2v2
Instead of having 2 people in the arena team lose a heap of games straight, then use your 2 mains to get the rating back up, just have 2 alts lose 5 or 6 games a week, then play the next 4-5 games on your mains.
So your alts personal ratings will go down, then when u play on your mains, 4-5 wins should bump you up an average of 60 points a week.
While this isn't the quickest way to get your personal rating up, it'll go up over time, and you won't have to worry about sitting in Q's for days waiting for your rating to go down.
Can't confirm this as of yet, just started trying it this week.
And can anyone confirm, that if u have personal rating of 1850 in 2v2, and join a 3v3 team with a team rating of 1850, can u purchase the weapons?
I know there was a thread that discussed this earlier but dunno if it worked? |

Reputation: 37 Level up: 68%, 229 Points needed |    | | | This is what I did to get my shoulders. My team rating was only 1700ish, but my personal rating was like 2100. It works. Just DO NOT LOSE at low rating, you earn about 3 points but lose 70! |

Reputation: 5 Level up: 44%, 282 Points needed | | | | Here's another thing, if you don't have alts or just can't be bothered switching characters too often. Queue with 2 mains, and when the queue pops up, just ignore it and wait for it to pass. The game will be count as lost, and team will lose rating, but since you didn't really play the game, your personal rating will remain the same. I'm not 100% sure if it works, but once I was playing 3v3 and I crashed on the loading screen of the arena. Of course they lost and the team lost rating, but I didn't lose personal rating and as a result had around 15 more then my teammates. |
