you cant type the letter combination "ukow" !
i.e. you cant typ: "u kow" , "uk ow" , "u k o w" , "uko w"...
If you try, you wont see anything in the chat window.
Tried with the German WoW Client.

Wenn man die Buchstaben ukow eingibt, sieht man nichts im Chatwindow.
Z.b.: Wenn man "uk ow" , "u k o w" oder eben diese 4 Buchstaben hintereinander eintippt, sieht man einfach nichts.

Just tried it, the english client allows "u kow" and "uk ow," I didn't try any others because I know they will work. This is likely specific to your language.
Heh this happened to me once, I was chatting with a friend in polish and suddely it blocked the message I sent and it said in red text that my message contained reserved words, that threw me off a bit. It's quite annoying when communicating in other languages than english because your language might just have a letter combination that's "bad". For example -ukow is quite a popular ending in my language, e.g. łuków would mean 'bows' in genitive. Of course noone bothers with the ó and ł so they become o and l, and there, I can't tell my friends about bows
There is atleast 4236 words in WoW that are censored.

But there's some strange things, saying words like:

are censored.

Myself i wont keep profanity filter on while playing, but now when i ripped that list, i can see that there's quite much words that are normal in Finland, such as "moro", meaning "hi". Gotta see how much there is while turning it back on
