Cool little exploit here, Works really well for instances.
Found this while doing a BRD run with a 60 hunter me being 56.
We were fight some Firelords jus before the MC portal and marked the same guy and instead of saying "A more powerful spell is already active" My Rank 3 and his Rank 4 Hunters Marked, as you may have guessed by now stacked O_o
This will be fixed quite soon so go out there and milk it for all its worth

yup. blizz did this on purpose for most spells, but i doubt they meant for it to work with that one.
in the patch notes it says that "buffs will now stack" ie Renew and Regrowth, so that you can have multiple HoTs on you at once.
but if this works, since it's a debuff, does that mean all debuffs will stack? for example.. what if you had 5 locks all casting dots on one mob? O_o |

they can cast dots. maybe you mean 5 curse of elements? |

This could be done before the patch too, For me and another hunter if we both casted out Hunter's marks at the same time, they seemed to stack up on the mob. I guess you can call it an exploit, but i've never seen different ranks of hunter's mark stack before, i think you guys just got lucky and casted at same time like I did. More of a bug, but I guess if you have excelent sync, try to get like 5 marks on rag or something lol. |

well my warlock and 2 others tried, we got 3 corruptions, 3 imolations, and 3 curses of agony on 1 target so i hope this answers ur question |

I've actually seen this happen once before the patch too. Me and another hunter cast the -same- rank of hunters mark (neither of us had Imp. Hunters mark either) and it stacked for some reason. Not sure how that worked.. |

Before the patch it didn't work, but if 2 hunters casted Hunter's Mark at the same time, you would see 2 of the debuff, but it didn't increase the ranged attack power. |
