VC trick very useful.

I have used this like forever and just figured I should share.

This is for if your running a lowbie through deadmines and keeps them from dieing at VanCleef.

~1. As soon as you get to the top deck of the ship turn to the right and there should be a cannon.

~2. Have the lowbie jump up on the left wheel edge of the cannon almost on the top but not.

~3. Now turn so you are facing the edge of the top deck but looking off slightly to the left.

~4. Now hold down the forward button and press jump and you should be standing on air above a box.

~5. In this spot you are invincible and the lowbie can now safely stay there while you kill VanCleef.

Sorry, but I have recently been banned and haven't gotten a new account yet so I have no pics right now but I will try and post some later. By the way I know this might not be the best thing in the world but it is an exploit.

i can post screens if that means so much to you but maybe tomorw
but i can describe it now:
when on the ship after mr. smith and before captain greenskin and van cleef you have to get up by using the 2 wooden floors from the first one at side away from the ship make a small jump to the big weel the ship is suppous to use around
when your on it the mobs can't get you so when fighting van cleef just make shure the tank doesn't attack the adds, just Van Cleef and the healer will get the aggro however if the healer is on the weel they can't get him so if you do it correctly they should stay in stealth the whole combat
my (hunter, 24) and my friend priest (24) managed to solo the whole DM without the use of cheats useing the weel

Umm, if you just stay on the Dock below, 1-2 levels below, you will get credit for the kill and not agro VC or his buddies, so this is alot of figuring out for nothing

Assuming you know how agro works: Why would your lowbie be dieing? If your running a lowbie through, how is he getting agro?

As long as the lowbie isnt way up close to the enemies, then you can get agro before they do. lol, just doesnt make sense to me that the lowbie is even getting attacked. Just have him/her stand on the lil ramp thing while you kill Van Cleef. Loot, leave.

i jsut use the wheel if ther is accidental agro n stuff, personally, i just kill things, so shud everyone, and if u CLEAR the instance they shudnt agro but nice anyways
