this maybe a repost and might be too stupid but here goes:
the mod chronos(comes with cosmos) allows you to use

/in <number of seconds> /say xxxxx

say the average BG lasts 35mins - 2100 seconds

you could use

/in 5 /bg Lets win this

/in 100 /bg they suck

/in 200 /bg they really suck

you get the picture,

this WILL decrease your chances of gettin reported AFK by alot

thisWILL NOT prevent u from getting reported AFK entirely

this MIGHT not work, or it might keep u from auto-afking O.0

Press both of these at the same time and you can go AFK for a little more than 2½ hours. Ever 299th second it says "a" to keep you from getting AFK. Use with BG assist for bot free afking
Don't know though if the BG loading screen stops the macro... If it doesn't this is really awesome.

Edit: Tested with spells, thought you could automate playing with this macro, just got a line saying "Error, /in cannot call secure command:/cast"

Edit again: You do need some addon for it. I don't have that addon that's listed in first post but when I turned off all addons it doesn't work anymore.

Third edit: It was Quartz that enabled the command.

Another way to stop people in BGs thinking you are AFK is to use a cheap heal, like a silk bandage or entry-level healing pot. Most AFK searchers look for people who have done 0 damage AND 0 healing...so if u have at least SOME healing done, they think you are not AFK. and healing on yourself is still considered healing...

You need that addon he said in 1st post, or Quartz casting bar. I didn't have the one he said, but when I turned off all addons it didn't work. I turned on Quartz and it worked again.

That's what i was going to say, just make it /whisper yourself.



Although from what i recall, a macro typing things for you DOES NOT release you from being AFK.


Had an addon before that whenever a key word was said, it would whisper yourself to try and stay un-afk.
Although it never did much, and you still could so....

well since i whisper myself and reply myself at the same time it does prevent mef rom going AFK, just spam it once when entering AV, then move to afk spot , click it again & say like /s Moo before you go AFK



edit : apparently it works with emotes too like /dance , /chicken & stuff, not sure if those prevent you from going afk...?
