Im not sure if this is common knowledge or if it's been posted. But it is possible to have both fire and frost ward on you at the same time. Normally when you use one, it triggers the CD on both. However, if you use coldsnap it refreshes both of them (Including fire ward for some reason). That way you can have Ice Barrier, Fire Ward, and Frost Ward up for some massive damage absorbsion.

kinda nice I guess, but blowing a +8min CD to get another ward up instead of snapping _after_ dmg to get another icebarrier AND ward up doesn't make much sence to me : /

Ya you could use it for more reasons, like if your ward gets blasted in .02 secs you could pop another. Just using an example.

You could also use it after using like your elemental and ice block and all that first.

This is awesome, I duel frost mages alot in durotar and we usually dont use CDS apart from 1 iceblock. All of them use fire ward or frost ward before the duel but Ive never seen any go and use coldsnap to get both. This will come in very handy for me. Thanks

Doesn't work anymore, they made it to where cold snap only "releases" frost spells, so no fire ward... but you could just use fireward then cold snap then frost ward

But like you said before, kind of common sense

Are you guys sure this works? Last time I stole a fire ward and having a frost ward on me and it erased the first buff, should work same way with CS. Someone can confirm?

Fixed in 2.3 no longer works.

I just used it, they didnt fix it. I use frost ward first, then CS then fire ward. heres pic.
