Possible workaround for personal rating exploit nerf
As most of you probably know the exploit where you keep loosing with your alt and winning with your main in the arena will be fixed. The items require personal rating will also requier team rating, so I thought of this simple idea.
Fix your personal rating to desired value using the "loose with alt, win with main" method and then simple ask a high rated team for an invite in one of the other brackets for a minute or two, so you can buy your items.
Im not 100% sure yet if this works but i think it should.
Donate to remove ads, get your "DONATOR title, and get access to the MMOwned community's elite Shoutbawx.
What could work nevertheless: Exploit your personal rating up to 1850, get a full s2 lock and a disc priest or a rogue and make them leave their 2v2 and play on yours, the team will get to 2k really fast since the combos are so bloody overpowered in 2v2 (Blizzard admitted it, and disc priest + rogue keep wining all tours, so no whines from anyone on this point please).
(your personal rating will remain, and the team rating they'll get it up)
These techniques are too complicated/long...
or just do not work

I just gave the exploit fix away like this, can I finally be more than a leecher? been waiting for an opportunity to say something decent but this was the first one, I haven't really been leeching :P

I figured everybody would have figured out by itself the way to get personal rating high but well here is how you do:
-get a 2v2, get a buddy, decent gear, dont really need to be awsome, u just need to be able to get to like what 1600?
-use ur friend's char to queue (with you in the group)
-when the queue pops up make ur friend get in the arena and cancel the queue on ur main.
result => ur team's rating go down/ ur personal rating stays at 1500
-keep losing with the alt until the team is at 1300ish, even lower if u want
-play with ur buddy to get the rating back up to 1500-1600 (if u cant do that, just... stop wow =p )
result => by the time ur team's rating get back to 1500, ur personal rating = 1700
-just do it again until you re happy with ur personal rating
=>buy items

This was nerfed and the reason why i did this tread >_>

"Please be aware that with this week’s maintenance, purchasing arena season 3 items that have a required arena personal rating will now also require the purchaser’s arena team rating to be at the same point values as well. Unfortunately, this will not be properly displayed within the game; the in-game display will be fixed soon in an upcoming patch."
you have a personal rating and an arena rating, for each of three brackets. As soon as you hit 1850 in any bracket you can purchase items. The new change is that your team rating must also be 1850 IN THE SAME BRACKET. No you can't use personal rating 1850 in 2v2 plus team rating 1850 in 5v5 (that you just got invited to and have a 1500 personal rating in). Same bracket, at same time, both ratings >1850 or no weapons.
