This is fun if your in a raiding guild, i know this works for SWstats but i dont know about others, but with SWstats people usually have it set so the hunters pet damage is merged with the hunters damage, so here's what you do.
Say your getting a lil bit low on dps meters and you dont want your guild to notice, and you notice there's always some rogue in the top 10, so what you do? Rename your pet to that rogue so youll get his dmg added to your dmg PLUS your pets damage, so you'll always be #1 on the dps meters.
Once again, i only know this works with SWstats meters, but thats what 75%+ or raid guilds use. |

SWStats? no it isent, its a dmg meter over 75% of the guilds use today... |

i coudl be wrong but i've never heard of a raid guild using swstats, i've been in 3 total (druid was in one then switched and my pally is in another) and all of them have used DamageMeters |

Well it might work for DamageMeters if it has the ability to merge hunter pet dmg with the hunters damage, and ive been in over 5 guilds that have used SWstats. |

yeah no one uses swstats.. dmg meter more popular in raids.. at least on my server |

The majority of my server uses SWStats for dmg meters...weird. |

SW stats is a verry common addon which you will find in the addon folder to most players in a raiding guild.
BUT, why would you ever use a bug like that? Honestly, if your in a raiding guild and autoshoots you dont deserver the spot.
If a healer slack the rest of the healers have to heal more,
if the DPS slack, you have to heal more. When the healers have to heal more they go oom faster, which can cause a whipe.
Sure, it migth be fun to name your pet the same as your top dmg dealer and nagg your class officer, but apart from that its lame to DO it, but i got to admit its a nice find =) |

Well this forum is for exploits, aka cheap things to do. So i thought it should be posted.
ALSO: Fun thing to do, name your pet to a healer and get your hunter on the healing charts :P |

No it works if everyone else has hunter pet damage merged with hunter damage, which they should, because it makes the dmg meters accurate |
