I am mostly horde but I always wanted to try a NE hunter but I was attached to the idea of the rake as a pet, so what to do
well, I went to westfall, begged a lock with /who warlock (another tip for you) to summon me to westfall
once in westfall I died intentionally and whisped (gotta love NE whisp) down through STV, on to boat at Booty Bay, through ratchet and barrens (still dead as a whisp mind you which is a movement speed increase of 50% (25% faster than normal ghost)) past camp T and through Mulgore
then I went to the spirit rez outside Thunder Bluff and rezed with rez sickness and shadowmelded near a tree till the sickness was done. then I found the rake, tamed and hearthed
instantly I was greeted with WTF, how did you get that pet :-)
anyway, hope it help someone, don't know if anyone has ever posted it and it is also kinda useless since pet attack speed will be normalized, it can also be used for the coolest looking scorpid in the game Death Flayer right by the river in Dutor

Happy Hunting | Two things 1. This isn't an exploit. 2. When you spirit rez, you rez at the spirit rezzer closest to your body regardless of which spirit rezzer you talked to. They fixed it a while back.

ok, maybe not an exploit, maybe it is, depends on how you view it
I did this 2 or 3 months ago so unless they fixed it since then it works, it is possible that it worked cause I was on another continent

Ummmm, I am wondering why this is even being discussed. All you have to do is, and this will work on a PvP server, walk down to Mulgore and tame him. Hell Ghosthowl is down there as well and I got both, at level 15 none the less. Its not like Rake or Ghosthowl are specificly Horde. I have seen Horde in Teldrassil to tame one of the nightsabers there because they have a 1.3 AS. Which is better than most of the cats around Mulgore which have a 1.5 AS.
Oh and for those that do not know the Snakes from ZG and ZF are tameable again. I guess they figured the exploit a while ago was worth putting back in, which enabled you to tame them, when you should not have been. Poison Spit rank 3 FTW. |

this post was mostly for lowbies that want a fast easy way to get there unharmed, fast = wisp, unharmed = ghost through the whole journey there |

I walked over there and tamed it, with no hassle.
As in, not your way, just walking o ver there as a lvl 10 | | |
