Guys, this isn't working for me. I'm trying to use this:
/script SendChatMessage("124cffe6cc80124Hitem:18582:2673:1208:1220:1214:3225:0:0124h[The Twin Blades of Azzinoth]124h124r", "CHANNEL", "Common", "5");

but in my channel 5, it spits this out:
124cffe6cc80124Hitem:18582:2673:1208:1220:1214:3225:0:0124h[The Twin Blades of Azzinoth]124h124r

Anyone know why? Am I doing something wrong?

check that you have all the appropriate backslashes in there, and also make sure you arent running either ludwig or my smileys addon
Push comes to shove, stick it in a macro

Uh, considering I dont' know what either ludwig or smileys are, I don't think I'm runnign them. Also, what backslash are you talking about? i'm using exactly what I posted. If i'm missing something there, please let me know.

updated [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to work properly with 2.4, just paste the code into a macro and hit it while you're typing a message to insert the link :-)

Whenever I try to link martin thunder (or any artifact, at all) or shard of the verdant flame, it just says the name and doesn't link it. Why is that? i'm on eonar, if it matters.

Where the server used to d/c you if you tried to link non-existant items, now it just strips the link out and leaves the name. if you try an item that has actually been seen recently on your server then it should work

(i dont know if that means GMs are wandering around with martin thunder occasionally, invisible - could do :-)
