Mystical Skyfire Diamond, I beleive this to be making my blizzard double up when it procs. I get double the blizzard damage.

It doesn't exactly double the damage, but it makes the blizzard channel faster so all the damage goes through in a shorter time.

I don't think it gives double the damage, but a speed increase instead. When it procc's, try looking at the tooltip to see if the speed has been reduced.

my point is the speed has increased, thus the damage has increased, but the length of cast is the same. This isn't supposed to be?

Next spell will be casted in hallftime, lets use your head here.

Blizzard is channeled, so cut off 50% of its casting time, so when it procs you will be able to cast blizzard twice in the time it would normally take to cast it without the gem proc, not double damage, just faster damage.

will someone please try it, rather than read the description on the spell. Bugs don't really follow the rules of tooltips hence they are exploits. Someone try it

Ive had one of my mage friends spam blizzard on me with and without the half cast, It seems to be really unstable. ._.; Sometimes, it does double the damage over the same channel and other times it would cut the channeling time in half. So..Its a bit of both.

And by the way, this is an exploit, the blizzard is doing double the damage, and its not costing twice as much mana.

What it would do on a normal spell, is that it would make the casting time shorter, but in order to double your damage, you'd have to double your mana spent, that's not the case right now.

The blizzard is dropping twice as fast, doing the damage faster than it should, and it doesn't cost more mana than it usually does.

This is NOT working as intended. because i believe this is a glitch people don't usually notice, and that he actually contributed. Please show that you've done something better than give 15$ to the website before you flame someone.

This isn't an exploit I have a 70 mage myself
When the meta gem proc's it cuts your next spell in half
Just when you cast blizzard the channeled move doesnt show its time being reduced
but infact it is
so it is working as intented

i'm taking a wild guess and say you didn't time it yourself.

cause if your thought is true, then the channeled bare would be only half way depleted when the spell was complete.
