Not entirely, the fact that everyone ''multiplies'' the money is due to the fact that blizzard cannot divide a copper into smaller amounts, if per say a mob dropped 100g a 25 man raid would get 4g a piece per person in the raid. It's a question of division.

well if a mob drops more than 40 copper in a 40 man raid, then the most extra money anyone could possibly get would be 1 copper. it is divided down to the copper, so don't expect a gold to be rounded up to each player.

PS- If you got really bored you could get a like full raid group of lvl 1s and kill lvl 1-2 mobs in starting area and maybe make 1g in bout 25 kills =p
