Disenchanting exploit

I came across this "exploit" like three minutes ago. We were in hellfire ramparts, with my alt, 64 level warlock, helping a friend.

When we were done, i left group, and when timer that was going to port me to Shattrath went to 4 second, i starting DE the items i got so far. But i was teleported to shatt before i successfully disenchant the item, and by surprise, i saw into my inventory that there was no cloak nor any shard.

its kinda useless, but its an exploit nontheless

i tryed this some time ago with the non disconnect but Freeze Script.

Lose Item and got nothing. Maybe there is a way to make it the other way - Disenchant but dont loose item... would be realy nice ^^

the only thing good out of this could be to d/e an item and receive a shard from it, tell a GM that you tried to d/e it while porting and you lost the item and the shard. Hopefully they will give you back the item and you still have the d/e shard or w/e from it earlier...
just a theory, test if you want

Or hit the X on the loot dialog, maybe. I'm not sure though as I am not an enchanter.

they fixed that many patches ago, hitting X on the loot box just puts the shard/essence/dust into your bag
