There is a quest called "Etherum Secrets"[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]in Netherstorm, wich the mobs who you kill are trapped inside prisons, and always drops eather blues or greens ( of the Bear, Whale, etc ) and the questitem you need.
To complete the quest, you need to kill mobs around the prisons for keys;[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ( decent drop chance ), and then you open a prison and a mob spawns, the mob is a little tougher than regular mobs, but easily soloable ( I suggest you get 100% mana and hp ). Then you loot him, and he drops a blue or a green, and the questitem.
But here comes the exploit-part of the quest. If you don't take the quest item, you can just kill more mobs and get more keys, thus getting more greens and blues. Sometimes the blues are BoE and sellable, sometimes their BoP, but you can perhaps use them yourself, otherwise vendor it! The greens are always BoE.

I did this while farming rep for the seaforium charges, and dude, the "decent drop chance" is more like 2% on every mob except the rare spawn "Ethereum Jailor", which has 100%.
i noticed a few botters running around that one mana forge. perhaps they're farming those prison keys to use for this purpose. i've checked a couple of their armories and 9 times out of 10 they're enchanters. common sense tells me that they're grinding enchanting mats.

This is working as intended. Whether or not you have the quest an Ethereum Prison Key will always open one of the jails therefore summoning the mob dropping your blue/greens. I see no exploit in this, seeing as how this is a recommend way to grind consortium rep when you have the keys, since the quest is a repeatable. Am I missing something?
The best way to get these keys now would probably be the daily dungeon quests, running Mana Tombs or using a /target Ethereum Jailor macro while flying around the mana forge where the prisons are located.
Always eather green or blue from a mob.
