Trick Blizzard with Account Rental

Hi All,

This has just occured to me, im not 100% sure if it works but im trying it right now.

I have an account that im using for Gold Rental, and my account is on Stop / De-activated, but playable till mid Decemeber.

Now due to my account being on stop / de-activated would this trick blizzard in thinking im not going to play the game no more? As that is what i said to them when i de-activated it...

The rental has being going for 2 days solid and no problems so far

Is this worth a try if it works?
Pay by Card -> De-activate -> Rent -> Scam -> Activate -> Play ...


Any suggestions?

blizzard can still check what IP plays on the account , if its to foreign , they change PW and you have to do a retrieve PW

Reset your modem or something so your IP changes..

Actually, a better way to trick blizzard, is to buy one of those 14-day trials ($1.99, btw) and take on the 14-day trial, and just find a private server that you want to log on to.
I've installed WoW(trial) and TBC(free) and its been about a month since I've actually got the trial demo.
I've also been working exploits and stuff on the public servers, by making a copy of WoW folder (find where you installed it, then make a full copy, takes about 30 min or so), update it to specs, and now, I have a WoW folder that I launch to play on public servers, and one I use to play on private servers with.
And by the way, I was never asked for an activation code for TBC, so that means that I'm enjoying the expansion, on both public and private servers, and so far, I've as a whole, spent $1.99+tax on WoW, for the 42 days I've been playing.
its not totally zofmg free, but $1.99 is a drop in the bucket compared to what other people are playing.

Correct me if I'm mistaken Arylion, but your getting on Blizzards servers as well as the private ones and you only paid two bucks? How are you getting on the public servers after your 14 day trial is up, am I missing some details here? Thanks for the time if you reply to this.

yea im curious as to what you said too Arylion: first of all, even if you keep creating new trial accounts, you have to start over.

not only that but there are major game limitations on trial accounts so i do not see how it could be all that fun

btw ip doesnt matter unless you live in california and you just finished playing at your house with a california ip and then 5 minutes later a ip logs on from china . becuase they cant ban you for playing on a different computer.

Can you explain how you can still login after you de-activated your account?

And Arylion, why do you make two different wow folders, only difference between private and retail wow servers is one text in realmlist.wtf folder, if you wanna play on retail, just change "set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com" or if you wonna play on private then just set it "set realmlist login.privserverip.com" I think you are pretty much in lack of experience if you have two wow folders on PC to play on private and retail.
