[Kinda Exploit - Rogue] Gain Energy on Kindey Shot
This will show you how to gain energy on Kidney Shot.
The reason why I picked Kidney Shot as an example is that its the "easiest" ability to start Energy-Bugging with.
What you need: - Talent in Assassination named: Relentless Strikes, which is on the 15' point in the Assassination tree.
- A EnergyTick Bar, I use EnergyWatch to demonstrate on the screenshot. (Download link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
What to do:
When you got combo points up on your target, and you use Kidney Shot at the exact same time as the Energy bar fills. You will, however, cast Kidney Shot for free, no energy charge. And since Relentless Strikes got a 20% chance to restore 25 Energy on finisher moves you got a 20% chance to earn 25 Energy!
Screenshot as a demo: Click Kidney Shot now!
Note! This also works with all other finisher moves and all Rogue abilities basically, however strikes, such as Sinister Strike and Backstab needs a more accurate timing and bit a of luck to cost no energy, but feel free to test it out with Eviscerate, Expose Armor etc.
Cheap Shot and Garrote also work, but you need a quite accurate timing!
Another tip for all Rogues: Use the opener (Cheap Shot -> Garrote) when your energy bar is barely full. Even if this trick ain't proccing it will regain energy again instantly and get you more energy for your next move!
I know this is a quite lame thread, and people are like "omg, repost, common sense, who didnt know that? :S" Just posted it, since I find it cool and I wanted to share it with those who DID NOT know it.
To those who says this is a joke? I'm I the jokeman in Batman or something?
Those who are like "No, this is just stupid." If your energy ticks once, then when its about to fill again, press a finisher as on the screen shot. You WILL see that you will get another 20 Energy (As a normal tick) and the Kidney Shot for free! No cost! There is also another post about it here some where (How to do it with Backstab..) Stop punish me
Good luck.

No, it fills up once as normal, means 20 more energy, but when Relentless Procs it adds 25+ Energy, means a 25+ Energy gain, in a total you get 45+ Energy and a free Kidney Shot.
Re: [Kinda Exploit - Rogue] Gain Energy on Kindey Shot
You won't gain anything, it will just look like a burst of energy, but even if you did the kidney shot 1 sec earlier, you would gain the exactly same amount of energy. Delete the thread, this is bullox.

Exactly, you're getting the exact same amount of energy back, it's retarded to think you're 'exploiting' in any way, all you're doing is making the next tick of energy longer, so you get your kidney shot off, then you're stuck to do nothing.
Stupid thread, telling you how to put talent points in a skill, and how to push a button.
Re: [Kinda Exploit - Rogue] Gain Energy on Kindey Shot
I found out about this when my rogue was lv 10 (that i could use attacks for free)
And no didnt had an energy mod, if you play without an energy mod (i never had one) you automatically knows when your energy refills

You can test...
Lets say your energy is about to tick, you press Kidney Shot or anything at as on the picture. You WILL get it free, even if the relentless strikes don't proc. You will see that you won't lose energy, just get 20 more as normal...
