This was very interesting, happened to my guild today after i stopped my afkbot in AV..
I am the guild master in my guild, and my one guildie, the lowest rank that can be, could promote anyone to officer, and when he tries to leave the guild, it says that he must give his GM privileges to somebody before doing that. And remember, i was the GM all the time, and i am still. So we had like 2 GM's all the time here. And it red on his name, when u watched in the guild, he was still "I Like Kebab" aka Private and has privileges only to speak and listen to guild. I could not kick him, neither demote or promote. When i try to demote / promote / kick, it says hes too high rank, when he tries to leave, it says that he cant leave as a GM

This actually happened to my guild. One of the members had Gm access and was kicking everyone out. So, we made a new, temporary, guild and reported him (we were going to kick him out anyways) and he either got a 3 day ban or perma-banned(Have not seen him online since this incident). We got our guild back, but it's weird that it's happened to someone else. |

i must give him officer, but with wich options in the guild control..

Think guilds might be a little buggy atm..
I was the guild master in a guild (happened 1 week ago)
I wanted to promote a member, but then it came up with "This player is not in your guild" Although he was in the guild and was listed too.
But when I did /who *his name* It came up that he had no guild at all.
This bug was gone soon after though.
-And yes, I'm dure he didn't leave, I promoted him later ^^ |

How to do it, i think,
Get a rank so you can promote,
Get a alt in,
Make a '/gpromote <name>' macro
Start spam it, dont mind 'rank to high' etc
If it still works/im right, your alt should have GM, but still wont display it |
