This happened to me just now as I was sending myself some gold from a scammed account to my account.
1. Create a char on w/e ever server (I created an alliance char on Jubei'Thos).
2. Create a second char on the same server of the same faction.
3. Delete the original character and create a new char, you should be able to make one of the opposing faction.
I have only tested this once, but I'm pretty sure I just glitched..

reason it works for you on some realms its because they are PvE realms, only on PvP realms you cannot create chars from both factions. (fix me if I am wrong) |

I thought that at first, but the first time I did it was on PvP.
Disregard this if no one else can do it, must have been a one of glitch. |

are you saying that you can only make chars of one faction per server?
umm no u can always create both
i have blood elf and all the alliance xept for humans on one server... |

Confirmed working, did it on Aszune (EU) |
