Howdy, I'm sorry about the useless threads I've made in the past, but I want to say I found this bug earlier and wanted to share it. May be useless, but it makes you wonder if you could possibly use it for something. Anyways, I was sending mail to an alt, and you know when you type an amount over the money you have, it says "Not enough money"? Well, if you type an amount about "99999999999999999999999999" gold, or higher.. just put around that. It will show some sorta glitchy amount when you do it, so just click send. It will say "Mail sent." o.o I dunno.. I logged on my alt, and checked, and only the letter was there. No money, sadly.  Ah well.. I thought it might have been pretty cool.
Not very useful, but I didn't find it on here. Hope you all enjoy.  |

maybe you could use it for a scam. type in how much you send then take a screen shot so you can get paid for sending that money? idk its an idea |

However, on the subject of scams you could claim that with the new mail transaction scanning, and all the people being banned due to mailing mass amounts of gold, say Blizzard stores the gold somewhere server side. By putting this large amount of gold in will bypass the whole "not enough money", tapping into that "stored gold" but, the scam being, claim that you need to put something in the mail, such as a simple text code, to drain the "stored" amount of money.
Something easy enough for someone to test, see for themselves that there is indeed no "not enough money" warning and still be willing to give you money for the "code" that allows them to get the said "gold".
Just an idea.

Just an idea. | Lol stored gold. Gold is just stored as a numerical value in the database most likely. This is the virtual world, not the real world. There is no need for a 'stored gold'. |

The simple facts are: Blizzard didn't add in a code to handle that many numerical spots in the mailing because lets face it, no one will ever have that much gold. So plain and simple; It is not in the script so it just reads at as an error or in other terms "Nothing". I honestly think LarryStoleMyBike had it right "You phuckin phail."
