it has to be all same and all chars have to fit u dont have t have exactly 255 char but u have to have as much as u can
then u have to put the macro u made in ur bar
and the press on it and look at ur combat log u hit almost 4k and more depends how the lag is

I guess you guys are Post-BC players.... Shard of the Fallen Star was a trinket that would send down a meteor and cause i think 400-600 damage. Rumor had it that it was affected by spell damage when it first came.

this sounds like something that would only work on private servers. is there any evidence that this could work on live public?

This is a private server exploit. You can make a macro with supermacro that exceeds 255 characters.

This works mainly on Ascent and Antrix servers due to the fact that they have a 0.5 second period before the cooldown begins. So basically what happens is you stack the effect of the Trinket. EG: [Trinket] x (number of times /cast [spell]) Say you had 10 Fallen star Trinkets that proc 400 damage, you'd do 4000 damage. It is also affected by +spell damage so it's fun to play with but causes some major problems after a DC. If you are keen to do this however, I suggest downloading SuperMacro [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Which allows you to effectively break the 255 Character limit. Thus equaling more Bang for your buck!

EDIT: No this will not work for Live servers because they don't get that cooldown break.

Zok. Basically you take a trinket, equip it, then make a macro that casts that Trinket over and over. And it repeats the effect
