i know this isnt the right section but no one really looks in general so i just picked a topic to post in...

well to get past a password protected account on windows xp u simply just run windows xp in safe mode and there should be a new account called ADMINISTRATER just go into the account and change the passwords for the other accounts u have on your computer. Then just reboot your computer and it should now be your password u changed it to

Do you start your comp in safe mode my holding the windows key? I dont remember, but i think thats it and for Macs is the command key

edit: wait...dont you need to KNOW the pass to CHANGE the pass?

well i dont have a mac but i get into safe mode by restarting my comp then waiting until i see the loading bar then i just hold the power button until it restarts again then it lets me choose to go into safe mode

yea you need to know the password. & it's the same on macs.

Easiest way to do it on a windows machine is as follows, takes some time but it's saved my ass b4 now.

1)reboot with windows disc in & bios set to btoo from CD
2)do a repair install
3) after the first reboot you should get some sort of graphical user interface
4) on the right when it comes up saying "installeding devices) spamm F8
5) you should now get a bow allowing you do do different things, one of which is add a new administrators user account
6) let the installtion complete, if u don't the hack won't take effect
&) machines will reboot with everything intact (so long as you did a REPAIR install), just login with the new account you made.

no because it is a computer administrator account so u can just change the password without knowing the other password or if the other account is a computer administrator just make it to a limited account and then just change the password then switch it back to computer administrator

You still have to know the password to the Administrator Account to log on to the Admin Account; unless the owner of the computer you are logging into has not secured their Admin Account.

what if the computor is turned off and you dont have access to admin?
and, you can also just go into program files > world of warcraft > and run wow.exe or launcher.

One- Press/Tap F1 And F5 from boot, it will give you some options, choose safe mode .
Two- Choose the admin account (No password required)
Three- Either make your own account, or change the password the existing one.
Four- restart..

For school, use Safe Mode with networking and use Account-Admin Pass- Password or admin

Or Choose your own account but this may not be possible depending of what protection your school Admin has installed.

I think there CAN be a Password for the Administrator Account too.
If you dont believe, go into Safe Mode and create an Password for "Administrator" account.

Windows RepairInstall works.
To kill BiosPW turn the Power Cable from your PC and disconnect the Flat Battery on the Mainboard for some seconds. (The Bios gets resettet).
OR u can use a Bruteforce Prog like one u can find on w*w.11a.nu
