ok guys, a friend of mine tested this last night got 4 blues while doing it
it is till possible for rogues to farm mech but their is some adjusting you need 2 rogues, now you can have a rogue friend come or if your computer is fast enough 2 WoW's Open and your rogue friend logged in and u can just alt tab, now its very simple to do the new way, You have one of the rogues do everything that you done last time, if you don't know what to do im pretty sure you can refure to one of the other mech run posts on mmowned. now while the first rogue does his throw and casts what he needs to cast, the 2nd rogue can just wait by the chest for every one to run off after the other dude when their gone open the chest tadada !!, yes the gold will be divided i suppose if your running both accounts you can just send the gold from one to the other, Happy Mech Farming

That's what I'm wondering. I'm a 53 human rogue, hoping to hit 70 as fast as possible, with the hopes of farmin Mech. Now it seems it has failed miserably.

umm....have u even tested it? i've tried it and it seems there's no more chests to even do that exploit. i did 10 runs and neither of those runs had chest spawns in the locations from last patch.

they still spawn their, its just u can't get out of combat now till the mobs are back to position even if you do vanish

The chest was moved, I believe it only has 1 spawn point now. Only been there twice since patch.
It also now takes you about 3 seconds to get out of combat after vanishing in any situation, complicating thigs further.

yeah this is what kills it.... Even with the new location you can stil do it, sap a mob at bottom of the stairs, wait till the mini boss is half way up the stairs, pop your cooldowns and pull, then run up stairs (blind or gouge second mob) around the top jump down and you can get to the chest with about 4/5 seconds to go, but for first 3 of those you are stil in combat... suxors
