JAVA SLAP!

Pumped on Coffee and wanted to jump by now that I'm at work and hit you guys to a bit of info. Last night we caught the wrath of multiple unannounced reboots in response to some bugs in 2.2. I think this may be one of them.

This morning I logged on as normal to my alt 49 Blood Elf Rogue and went questing in the Hinterlands. Immediately I knew something wasn't right because I had way too many nodes popping up on my mini-map, all mithril. So one by one on my way to Skulk Rock I mined about four nodes. Inside Skulk, I found three more. I just figured that maybe no one had been here for a while so all of the nodes were left untouched for that reason.

THEN BAM!!!

I mined the last node inside the cave at Skulk and realized that the first had already respawned. So...I mined it and continued on with my Ripple Recovery quest.

BAM!!!

It happened again, the second and third nodes respawned. I mined them on my way out after I finished the quest and then...

BAM!!!

All of the nodes I mined outside had repopped. And what's better, almost all of the nodes gave me four ore a piece. Do the math.

All in all, I boosted my mining skill and absolutely PWNED the AH on my server for Mithril.

I had to log and go to sleep because I have to work nights tonight, but if anyone else is in the Hinterlands, you may wanna see if this bug is on your server too. I know I'll be heading back there first thing in the morn when I get off work, praying it's not fixed.

U prolly just got lucky just went there with my 52 warrior on server area 52 and mined da nodes that was there and non respawn for like 30 mins.

i found that there was alot of herbs everywere yesterday, in terrokkar forest and in shadowmoon valley. Thogth it was that all spawned when server was down.

Luck had nothing to do with this. It may have been a glitch solely on my server (Khaz'goroth), which I will yield to...but just in case, I would recommend all Mithril capable miners at least check it out.
