Dont know if this has been posted before.
This basically lets you go anywhere you want without agroeing mobs ect..
To do this you disconnect yourself off your broadband and the game is still running (have mount on or sprint to move faster otherwise you wont be able to use mount ect.)When you are at your destination reconnect WITH THE GAME STILL RUNNING and after about 15-30 seconds your where you want to be !!
This rarely works in BG works more if u have better Broadband.
If you stay in this mode for too long you will get DC'ed
Good for instance jumping say straight to van cleef.
Btw you still have a log off time on server side so make sure your not in an agroe place as you will reconnect to server and die!!

I think a lot of virus scanners have an option to turn off your connection (it says something like "Block all access" and just stops the internet till you turn it off). I know McAfee has it... not sure about others. Wondr if ths would work in Molten Core |

so how well does this really work? iv done it before, and it doesnt work too great.

It basically de-sync's you form the server, allowing you still to move (client to server side) But Not allowing the mobs to Attack you Because the server doesn't know your there. Then when you reconnect, you re-sync with the server and resume play, the worst that could happen is if you rollback to you origanal place where you disconnected becuase thats the last memory the servers have of you on record.

Its generally referred to as Stand-by. Im guessign its the same process that was popular in Halo 2 on XBL... In that case it can be very useful.

Hahah, yep! This works pretty awsome.
My computers weird, because my dog has most of my internet cords chewed up. When my computer lags like this, if im fighting someone in PvP i'll run as far away as I can (cooldowns dont end, so nice if I have sprint, bad for stuns) and once I come back I will have actually have teleported there for that person. |

If you were to get a nether drake go off internet you could fly past the barrier that takes you off it when you leave the outlands so you could fly one around azeroth and reconnect you may have a chnce you wont auto dismount though once you dismount you cant mount again (= |
