I recently discovered a way to Customize items and rename them as such( without using wpe, or any Ui addons or mods).
The Script is below as follows:

/script SendChatMessage("\124cffX\124Hitem:X:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h[X]\124h\124r");

X - Is where The Html Color is placed
X - Is replaced with the item ID
X - Is where you put the new name.

Say you wanted to make a customized Thunderfury and make it look as if it were and artifact, the script would look like this:

/script SendChatMessage("\124cffFF0000\124Hitem:19019:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h[Chuck Norris' Lightning Blade]\124h\124r");

Now i dedcided to rename my weapon Chuck Norris' Lightning Blade but you can name it whatever you want.

The Colors for the Different color weapon names are below:

FF0000 - Artifact (red)
FF6600 - Legendary (organge)
660099 - Epic (purple)
0099FF - Superior (blue)
00FF33 - Good (green)
9d9d9d - Standard (grey)

And if you do not now know hwo to find Item IDs whenever you look up an item on thottbott and open up its page it will be at the top e.g. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

NOTE - This guide does not only work with weapons, but with armor and trinkets and any item with a value. and if you want to create your own item level (meanining epic, common etc) you can just look up html colors on google and there are many places to get new text colors.

yea tested a few times with diff items and colors - im getting DC'd everytime. is this for live servers or private?

They stopped this from being able to work on live servers several patches ago. I don't really feel like scrounging through patch notes to find out exactly when, but it's been a while. You just get DC'ed if you attempt to link anything that hasn't been seen on the realm (which includes fake items, which will never be seen).

Yeah item spoof 4tw 1 pally @ my server who had the hand of nerfarius dont know the name exactly^^ (it looks like a dildo) was named [blabla dildo of apollo] it was 2 funny the link was everyday in the trade channel
