May be old, not really sure, but I'm posting if anyway.

Basically, if you're in the watter in Booty Bay, you can attack a hostile on the dock, and not have the guards attack you. Additionally, if your target attacks you in anyways, the guards will attack your target.

This has been tried and tested on the Public Test Realms, so I'm not sure if this works for the current live version of WoW (2.1 or w.e)

So anyways, yeah, you can kill people as a ranged class. I did it as a Mage (with +spell range talents) so I assume you can do it with any range class.

Nope, they don't shoot you. They don't attack at all.

You can also do this with a geared rogue. One shot the low levels in stealth, then use vanish, and jump into the water. In most cases I don't think you have to jump into the water, but I do it just to be safe.

I have an Or Hunter and it really works! I just need to wait until pvp stops and the guards won't attack me. Very nice exploit!

Tried it too as lock, and guards caught me in the water. I was really far into the water, and the guards started swimming towards me, with one on top of the building shooting at me too.. definately does NOT work for me.

he said it is on the test servers or w.e. those things are buggy as hell, i was on a druid one 2 see what spec i wanted 2 go or stay as and when i was in cat form attacking my mace i had was in my hand (in cat form lol) but yeah.. there were alot of other bugs 2 that i wont mention lol

Your ememy must be in combat first. Either with another player of the opposite faction or a Bruiser. Or both.
