I dont know if this has been posted, i searched and didnt find anything.

I was recently in a battleground, i was fighting this 1 player, i activated my cold blood to kill him with eviscerate crit, but he died b4 the global cooldowns went away, so i had coldblood still on, thinking to myself now i have to waste it on some stupid backstab. Ok, so then i saw a undead priest, i stealthed, cheap shotted, then right when cheap shot broke, he bubbled himself, i used backstab (Still had coldblood) and it said "ABSORBED" but, i saw that i got 2 combo points on him from +Combo point crit, and i still had coldblood on, then i tried it again, but damege came out, for like 256, then coldblood wore off.

I Think whats going on is, if you use coldblood, if u do NO damege with it, then it doesnt go off, So if u use backstab, sin strike, or any ability that adds combo points, if u have coldblood on, and ALL the damege gets absorbed, it will still stay on, along with double combo points if u got the 100% to add combo point when crit blah blah blah.

Someone please confirm this, im kind of away from my WoW computer atm.

True, my rogue is at lvl 55 though, in most of stormshroud, but still, u cant break a whole priest bubble with sinstrike, i think this works for gouge too.

Or you could use this exploit on the big arcane mobs right before Curator in Karazhan. Too bad we have our mage and hunter pyro/aimed shot them before they get their shields up lol.

Too bad they fixed that where the mob will still keep 1% of his life and then mana shield no matter if you crit him for 8k on a pyroblast or w/e
