ok i checked did see anything on this so here i go.. Today i was in Shadow Mooning Valley screwing around when i mounted on my snowey Gryphon i was on a slight hill and when i mount i driectly flew up when i did my Gryphon was flying but not flaping his wings or anything. he was just like standing their u know when u summon a flying mount. so i was flying around but i looked like i was just gliding along pretty pimp well thats wat i though. I am try to find my pic in my screen shot floder but i have over 1500 so it will be awile sry

i dont know if this is an exploit so u can move it

if you make a macro with /mountspecial you can use that and i think it will give you the same effect you are talking about. you can also use it for normal mounts and while not mounted to glide around and look 'pimp'. this effect isnt client side

You can also do it with the ribbons for the mid summer festival. Had about 5 people doing it yesterday on my server. Was "pimp" seeing people gliding with ribbons.

An easier way is to type "/mountspecial" while on your flying mount in the air, he will reset to his 'standing' animation.

This happened to me once. i pressed space as soon as my mount appeared. but as soon as i pressed space again to fly up it stared to flap its wings again. i could never repeat it tho.
