Here you go

Step(1)
To get your camera zoom to be very distant you need to go to the file location in your folder:
...World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\(your account name)\(your server name)\(your characters name)\camera-settings.txt

Step(2)
open that file and it will look somthing like this
"cameraDistance 30.0000028
cameraPitch 15.000028"

Step(3)
then just change "CameraDistance" to 300 or some other number (dont go to a ridiculous number of it will crash wow).

Step(4)
Just Relog your character and it will somthing like this

Go to "...\World of Warcraft\WTF" and open "Config.wtf"

Find "SET cameraDistanceMaxFactor "X"" and edit the X, standard is a max value of 2, set it to around 20 and see what happens (Haven't really tried maxing it out, I have it on 15)

Of course. That's because the maximal camera range is "50.00".

So if you set your camera distance to be e.g. 500 and scroll a bit you will go back into the "50.00" limit.

And for those who can't get this to work. I've attached a camera setting with the camera distance of 500.
You just have to copy it into:

 ...World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\(your account name)\(your server name)\(your characters name)\

And it must work.
