i just tested it a bunch from my flying mount and it seems as if you blink befor hiting the ground you will spawn on the ground with no fall damage , people will say this is old but it was hotfixed at somepoint and with the new patch it looks like it is back.

Its all about timing, and you might have gotten it wrong.

yeah if u time it wrong then u spawn back to where u fell

If you get bad timing, and blink to early make sure you know where your slow fall icon is

if you blink early you still get some damage off, just not as much...

Actually, for some reason, I never thought to use Blink when I fell off my mount on my alt mage.

Blink is the one of the buggiest spells. A nice thing is that if you are 20yards or less from the ground and use it, you just auto land on the ground with zip damage... any higher and well... hope to hell you have a light feather or two

Always fun to pop it at the LAST second, when your feet are touching ground and you ice block
