Ok, this is really simple and it has the same basis as all of the old ones. Only difference is actually STARTING in mid-air!
1. Get on your flying mount and fly up into mid-air
2. Make sure you are out of city limits
3. type /camp
4. Imediately after hitting enter, right-click off you flying mount.
5. Voila! you are floating in mid-air for 20 seconds.
Another trick is to have someone in a group with a pally, and go up on their flying mount pretty high. After that have that person dismount, and the paladin cast Divine Intervention on them. If all goes well and they dont hit the ground they should be in the DI floating above the ground.

hehe, reminds me of how i first found this trick. Was flying to the sha'tari skyguard place, but got bored and decided to log off. Randomly right-clicked off all of my buffs before i logged out. Login>>>>>Fall 1000ft to my death.
