I was on my realm someone told me about this so i bought about 7-8 pets and i got with 3 other friends went into SW by the weapon master in the second story of his building so no one would see us and we shut down the eastern kingdoms for a like 2 seconds point is everyone on EK got dc'ed

Confirmed. i successfully DCed about 40 people in stormwind today on the realm Akama, followedpromptly by a operm ban to my trial account (Why the F%^& does blizzard bother banning trials...) lol

On the wow-europe.com site theres a link on the right side to making a trial account, it doesnt require credit card(might not be the same for US).
As for the pet, if you choose alliance, you can do the CLUCK! quest in Westfall, all you need is to be lvl 2 and have 25c.

LOL I did this, crashed twisting nether a few times (THE WHOLE SERVER) and had a ton of people complaining about lag on message boards. LOL +rep

But I wonder... Do you guys think that if you give somone (a friend) a ton of gold, then QUICKLY use this to make yourself disconnect, would you log back on with your gold? And your friend would have that gold too?
