In Mechanar, when you touch the bridge that leads to Pathaleon, waves of Mobs will come after you, but if your group runs back to the elevator and goes back downstairs, waits a few seconds, then comes back up, the mobs all reset to where they spawned and you can take your time marking their targets!

Not really an exploit, my groups always do this, and fairly obvious to anyone who has wiped on the waves.
