Uhh, I'm not sure I understand...Can't you just right click on the buff?
He's talking about while you're on your druid, you go to an innkeeper and then perform Trick or Treat. One of a few things happens: You get a treat and gain a treat bag (duh), you get a trick and get a buff like the pirate costume or wisp costume, but the third possibility is getting a trick which gives you a debuff instead of a buff like becoming a mini-diablo. During that time (30 seconds), you can't cast spells so the only way to remove it prematurely is for a druid to shapeshift which removes the debuff.

this isnt an exploit.
the reason you can shapeshift out of it is because the 'trick' works the same as hex from shamans, wich druids can shapeshift, its a sort of Polymorph

I don't think druids can shapeshift from polymorph effects...

Indeed true, but if you shapeshift before the trick or treat you will become immune to polymorph effects.

Tier 2-3 and tier 5-6 read following "Also protects the caster from Polymorph effects"
"The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects."
Meaning shapeshifting while being polymorphed from the trick would certainly remove it, but as you say, I think it silences you too, so better use it before the poly??

For those of you that aren't druids you can use Iron Boot Flask or the brew from BRD that gives 1hr dwarf costume to break the 45sec debuff too. This works with Wild Magic from Magic Eater too.
Working as intended all druid forms say they remove movement impairing effects so it will obviously get a druid out of the trick but you will still have the one hour debuff so its useless.

Druids CAN shapeshift out of polymorph effects, they however can't if stunned while shapeshifted (can't really see why that would happen though :P) also shapeshifting isn't affected by silence effects.
