Nominated Star Become Champion instantly after faction change!
Hello, so i recently transfered from alliance to horde on an EU server and i had done some valiant quests before i did it. so i noticed that i needed to do the argent tournament quests again to become a champion. But when i got to the valiant part i noticed that i already had 22 valiant marks so i could become a champion instantly! So what you do is simply get 20 valiant marks and then transfer if you want to be able to become a champion instantly

Assuming you aren't a champion yet, you can even stockpile more than one race's worth of Valiant marks. I did 4 of my champions' quests in one day with saved up Valiant's marks and considered saving more just in case they somehow decide to add Worgen/Goblins to the tournament. I am curious how they will deal with Worgen and Goblins, if they start as Stormwind/Org Valiants or if they simply add a sixth racial faction to each side of the tournament.

I doubt you´ll be doing Argent Tournament quest in Cataclysm...

Im sure people will still work towards collecting mounts for achievements.
(50 & 100 mount ach. for flying mount rewards)

Anyway, they are 12 mounts to collect from the Tournament daily, which is really quite alot in terms of that achievement.

So yes, i agree, people will be coming back to do these quests.

The argent tournament was set up as a tournament to prepare fighters for fighting against the scourge and the Lich King. Once Cataclysm comes out, the Lich king will be dead. Or so one would think. Whether they remove all of that after cataclysm is unknown, but I think that's what he had in mind when he said that people won't be doing the tournament quests after Cataclysm
