Well, as you know, when hunters lay a trap, they do a little kneel animation. Most good players will recognize this as the hunter laying a freezing trap to put some distance between them. So they'll probably continue chasing you, or going towards you , but strafe, putting them further between you two. Instead of really laying a trap though, stop moving for a split second and summon a non-combat pet. It has the same animation, and since the pet takes a couple of seconds to appear, they won't know the difference. Hope this helps

i dont get the point of this, they may think u lay a trap but you just wont gain anything from them thinking there is a trap....
nicer to put a trap and not having them to know =D
'
The point is to make the enemy think there is a trap there, making him go around it against you and thinking "HA HA U JUS GOT PWNZD NO TRAPPIE ON ME" then there is a trap right at your feet.

Re: Nice little hunter trick
nice idea. lil problem tho almost every non combat pet is usually opened by the same animation you use for engineering somthing, enchanting something... ect but just put a macro /kneel lol you get a better response
