Recently, I've read a lot of using fake credit card details to pay for WoW..when I remembered what i've been doing. It's perfectly legal, as you're about to find out the details you're using aren't fake, and it's Blizzards fault if you're not being charged.
Anyways, I live in England, and am registered with HSBC bank. Well when i turned 13, i got a Solo debit card sort of thing - ofc not like the proper thing, but close enough So when I registered for WoW, I decided to use my new 'Credit Card' details. Well I registered it as a normal Solo card, and voila, got my WoW subscription up and running.
A month later....I get a bank report every 6 months or so, and what do you know, no money lost! I checked again, and my account definitely hadn't lost money to pay for WoW. I've been using my Solo card to pay for WoW since I started playing, about 7 months ago. Only twice have I had to re-enter details after the month is up due to billing problems, but other than that, free WoW.
Very nice if you're 13-17 in the UK and can register with HSBC (very easy to get account open) and Blizzard can do nothing about it, as all the details are real and your own.
Enjoy!

I like this personally. Any idea why you don't get charged though? I know it's their fault but why this bank specifically or is it a certain type of account? +rep bro =)

Re: Free WoW - No fraud
There are thousands of actual 'fake' (but not really) credit cards floating around there that have been phished or stolen. It's fairly easy to get your hands on a list that has a few hundred cards listed on it. I'd have to guess that using this is actually LESS risky than using a bank card (as you suggested) because it's not your actual details that you've put on the subscription so there isn't really any direct link back to you. Though in the end I'm doubtful that Blizzard would press any sort of charges regardless of the method you use to steal gametime.
Might just be special with me...and the reason I said HSBC is because im using a special Solo debit card I got when i was 13, so kind of a kids one, not really the real thing.
Stop trying to scam Blizzard out of their money. That's like somebody coming in your house and taking something that doesn't belong to them. If you get pissed off at Blizzard because something doesn't go your way or there is a bug in the game, it is not their fault but yours because you're the idiots that keep paying month after month.
Remember, a game of this size takes many employee's to run and every time you scam Blizzard you're taking away from those employee's who have a family to feed.
Grow up, get a job and pay for the damn thing. If you're too young then go mow some yards until you've got enough saved up then give it to your parents and see if they will let you use their card. If that fails tell them you want to open a bank account with the money you earned then deposit said amount and ask for a DEBIT card.
This is fraud and the more you do it, the more chances you take of getting caught and I hope for your sake you don't get caught because they will go after your parents for the money that is owed and then your parents will deal with you.
Yes, you can go to jail at any age. The laws have changed since the 1900's and it's time to grow up and take responsibility. If you can't pay, you can't play!
