Searched and didn't find anything like this so i apologize if it's been posted.

Been lurking on here for awhile so i thought i'd try to post something useful:

There's a way to ninja the last boss in Heroic Underbog and it's fairly simple to do. First your entire party must die at the start of the instance [tell them all to strip down to save on durability loss]

There's a ledge above the entrance [after the last boss you can drop down from it to exit the instance faster] that you have to be in LoS of.

After the group's dead the healer needs to spirit release in the instance [this is accomplished by starting the logout sequence and clicking the "release spirit" button as it's about to tick to 0].

After that the healer simply runs through the instance up onto the ledge and res's the group, now you can kill the black stalker without going through the rest of the instance.

It may take a few tries to get the release to work properly but it's totally worth it imho.

I haven't tested it in other instances, but i know in UB it works, you can use this trick to save your entire group from running back after a bad wipe.

just spirit release in the instance, and res in a safe spot, then res up the rest of the group. might get a few questions from your group members unless you're shaman.

"YEARS" ago??? This ain't EverQuest, WoW is not even YEARS old! What, they fixed the issue before WoW came out? It's like 2 years old for crying outloud!
YES they DID fix it a crapload of patches ago... Burning Crusade, however, was built on an OLD version or Warcraft. Yes, that means Blizz is retarded, but we know they are. Doubt me? This is easy proof... Alot of the patched and forgotten glitches that once worked and then were patched, will now work again... effectively... unpatching the fixes they issued before. Yes, that is retarded, and yes, it does prove my point for me. Blizz is retarded. Personally, I would think they would have read their OWN patch notes and figured out what they fixed and why... but they were so busy trying to nerf things that were fully working as intended, that they did not have time or something.

NICE FIND. I cannot confirm, as I no longer play WoW, but I can see this as a definite possibility, and take it as fact at your word! !

About other instances:
The key is finding instances where you can rez deep within the instance, but still be close enough to the entrance to have them in range of rez... maybe... "Heroic Ramparts Ninja Run" is next on your "To Do" list?

I may try ninja ramparts, not sure if there's a safe enough place to res though with all the mobs right by the last boss, i'll check it out later on though

Are you... High? That doesn't make any sense... they Built it on an old version of WoW? First, just wow... seriously. Secondly, why would they possibly do that? It's not even fathomable, BC wasn't "Built" in itself per se. The client is very much identical to 2.1.1 non bc, the BC installer is essentially a glorified patch which updates the mopaqs with the new content. And even more on that secondly note, This would be a server side bug... SERVER SIDE. There isn't a super special BC build Server. They're all the same, they _add_ to it... you know... like it's a program... LAWLZS, If one guy was working on an old revision for feature x while another released feature y, where x is based off y, they would port the patches, they don't just say effe it and tack it on to the version before y.

Edit: But for the record a more logical possibility is the bug simply resurfaced, it's entirely possible it is back, but the description whoever gave before is completely illogical from a programming standpoint.

They build TBC on an old version of WoW. It is a fact. Blizz is retarded. Also a fact.

They spent so much time building TBC and troubleshooting it before release it was insane. There were a CRAPLOAD of patches from the start of troubleshoot until they released it. And many of the patches were never applied to the TBC build.

Thus, in effect, TBC was in fact built on an old version of WoW.
Don't like it? Too bad. It's the truth.

I agree with you totally on how stupid, and poorly thought out this was... seriously I do. Blizz... is... retarded.
However, if you look back at the past patches, and what they fixed... and how 90% of those old bugs/exploits have resurfaced since TBC... the truth is the truth. Don't take it from an ex-Blizz Tester. Go see for yourself.

First time it got me logged out, I logged in, it got me still in my body, second time I tried I logged out as well, but logged in as ghost at the spirit healer.
Does this require some lagg?
