Insanely high mellee and spell crit chances for low levels.
So I was screwing around on my alt today and I found this. The onyxia buff that previously gave a flat 10% crit chance to spells and mellee attacks is now a crit rating bonus. As we know, the ammount of crit rating required to gain an additional crit chance scales, that is it becomes more as levels go up. At level 70 you receive 10% crit from the onyxia buff. Since the ammount of crit chance you need at lower levels is substantially lower, I received a massive ammount of crit chance. I now have 135% crit chance with mellee and 265% crit chance with spell effects. This is great for leveling lower levels. I didn't see this posted anywhere else so I thought I'd share. Great for twinks too.

NO what im making of this is that he means, onyxia buff at 60 used to give an extra 10% chance to crit ( cant remember if it did or didnt ) anyway, now the higher the lvl you are above 60 the higher amount of crit rating you need to get 1% chance to crit at 60 its 14 or something and at 70 it 24 maybe,, honestly not exactly sure, so my understanding from his post is that the onyxia buff is giving a 10% to crit ( but in 70 crit rating )to everyone and the lower the lvl you are the less crit rating it takes to make up1% crit chance, giving lower lvl's mental chance to crit. I think thats what he on about, i cant back this up as i have receieved an onyxia buff in months.

Ok. Basicly what I mean is that the lower the level you are when you get this buff, the more it benefits you. Something blizzard overlooked. Anyway if you get this buff at a low level you crit 100% of the time. Makes grinding really easily. All you have to do is be in stormwind or oggrimmar when someone turns in a dragon head.

it also seems that level 70s can't get the buff, someone handed it in and all the 70s in org didn't get it, everyone else did but us, don't know if it was just bugged that time or "working as intended" but it sucked.

The Onyxia buff has a cooldown on how many times (per 24 hours?) it can be cast in town.
While you can turn in as many heads as you want whenever you want, if someone turned in a head that generated a buff too close to your own, you won't get squat.
