Warlock Seed of Corruption Bug

Many of you probably know this but i couldnt find it, that if a warlock ans say a hunter duel eachother and the warlock does two(2) seed's of corruptions, one on pet an one on hunter, it does double damage. well this works unbelievably well in neutral areas with the opposing faction. your friend will not get attacked but the warlock will if the seed hits a member of the opposing faction. its fun for gadz an everlook in winterspring for when your bored. have fun i guess?

To grief the warlock so he gets killed in a Neutral City?

Hmm.. I'm guessing you mean that the seed of corruption's detonation, the AOE damage, will hit guards, aggroing them on the lock who cast seed of corruption.

As per patch 2.1.1+:

- Seed of Corruption: This spell will now interact properly with
town guards when bystanders are hit by its detonation in a duel.

Meaning, nope, doesn't work anymore. And yes, have tried on my lock. It's fixed.

Well it was an entertaining way to pass the time while it was working.

all hes saying is that if a hunter has a seed of currpotion on himself, and so does his pet, the hunter will be effected by his pets explosion, and his pet by his explosion. This isnt really a bug though, its just how the spell curse of curroption works. I cast it on every member in a group of 5 or 10, so that they all explode and kill one another

It worked this morning at 4A.M so idk how they fixed it already, and it doesnt hit the guards, it hits members of the opposing faction. btw once you cast i would recommend running out of the city or taking all your gear off as to not take dura loss.

this doesnt really make a diff, if it affects guards or not, tehre gunna chase u down as soon as u cast teh spell... kinda pointless... but hey whatever

I think you guys aren't understanding, of course I may be wrong. He is saying that when you SoC both the hunter and the pet, they both take damage. That is a tip. But what he said was that the explosion would hit MEMBERS OF THE OPPOSING FACTION, then aggro guards, NOT hit the guards.

It does NOT hit guards, just the opposing faction. And i guess if you dont feel like running out of the city or cancelling the duel you will die an take dura loss, but most would probably run out of the city after the first few times they did it.
