Details on PoM bug...

Iv seen this happen to a few other mages before, casting PoM and it not going away after your first cast, having millions of instant casts... well this is how it hapended to me.

Alright, so I was a arcane/frost mage, 40/0/21, and i was just farming veins in netherstorm while i waited for my group for heroic slave pens to summon me. Well i got betwwen Forge base: Oblivion and Forge base: Gehenna when i spotted the fel iron vein.

Well, i poped off my flying mount and started casting a frost bolt at the protecting mob. After the frostbolt flew off i poped off my ARC Power/trinket/POM/Frostbolt macro in right between sometime when the POM got trigged and before the Frostbolt went off plus a little lag, I got the summon from my group.

And their you go, i was shotting instant frostbolts at all the demons around me. After I accepted the summon though and zoned inside the instance it reset.

I didnt go though the trouble to try and recreate this effect but id like it to be a refernce for anyone trying to get this effect. Thanx guys.

gd there actually was a code to freeze the buff with cheat engine once, but it got nerfed.. havn't tried to find the new

I'm not PoM spec atm so someone try this:

1. Get 2 people ready to summon you to meeting stone
2. Have a macro ready that says:

/Cast Presence of Mind
/lag
/lag
/lag

/lag
/lag
/lag
/lag
/lag
/lag
/lag
/lag
/Cast Pyroblast (or fireball, or frostbolt)

3. Tell your 2 frends to summon you to a meeting stone.
4. As soon as they say they are summoning press (not spam) the macro with a mob targeted. (Make sure you press it right before the summon shows up on your screen)
5. See if you have infinite PoM.

It must have been a freak accident for sure then. Well, atleast we know its still possible.
