When fighting Heigan the Unclean (10 or 25 man) you can stand on the edge of the platform, with Heigan down off the side of the ledge. By doing this, you can avoid having to do the dance as melee, and be able to just blast him. I've gotten him to 40% before the first dance with my guild. Heres how to do it:
First, position your main tank and one healer near the 4th area. Put all dps and all but one healer at the 1st area. 
The Red X is the tanks position
The Blue X is the raids position
Those are the positions pre-pull.
These are the positions everyone will run to as the tank pulls the boss: 
The Red X is where the tank and the melee dps will be standing.
The Blue X is where the raid will stand while healing or ranged DPSing.
The Green X is where Heigan will be positioned.
With that, all you have to do is stand and DPS/Heal until the first real Dance part. About 2 seconds before Heigan teleports, you should ALL run to the Cyan X's. 
Once you complete the dance, just run back to the original places shown in the first picture and repeat.

Also, before people start saying this should be in guides, the exploit is that you should NOT be able to avoid having to do the first part of the encounter.

I just thought "...Huh, don't have to dance" But chances are you won't do this unless EVERYONE knows what to do and is onboard with the exploit. |

only thing is casters, especially healers, need to watch for LoS and the casting speed debuffs. |

Also, to the poster above me, why would you put him in the other corner? If you do that, the healers have to run farther to get to the 1st position and risk getting stomped by Heigan's 8k-per-tick aura.

Kind of nice as I find most raids tend to die with the melee rather than the raid as a whole dancing. + rep |

I used this to get the safety dance, we only brought 1 melee dps and it went very smoothly. Was very cool.
