Okay, I know I read about this for horde, but you can do it for ally too.

I just was going to quest some in Grizzly Hills, and came upon a quest called "Mounting Up". The same guy that gives the quest is also a stablemaster.

I talked to him about "seeing the stables", and saw that i had a lvl 99 raptor named Tombreaver. I bought a slot for 5 silver and could to my surprise drag the empty box with my current pet (current pet being none, because I was specced in blood) and then drag it back to get a permanent ghoul.

All without speccing in Perm Ghoul ONCE.

Okay, I know I read about this for horde, but you can do it for ally too.

Okay, here's how you do it.

Also, NEVER EVER try to take out your temp ghoul, as you have to respec into unholy, drag him to a empty slot, change spec to get him back.

The ghoul will stay with you, but if he dies you have to go back to the Stable Master to get him.

Very very interesting, I have horde DK in Warsong Hold, in Borean Tundra. Once went to stable master and had a level 99 Raptor named "Bucky the Fleshripper" in stables never thought to put him in empty slot.
If this works for horde too =D +rep!

This is so epic for DPS. Blood DPS w/permanent ghoul? Or Frost DPS. This could be super epic.

Try speccing into a perm ghoul first.

I didn't have to, but I had a perm ghoul a long tong ago when levelling, and I believe that was still spooking around.

So try speccing into Perm Ghoul, Summon it, Change to Non Perm Ghoul spec and try.

Or maybe it's just random.

Edit: Only works at THAT SPECIFIC stable master. Not any other.

confirmed it works, but i got a question.
when i do this my ghoul does not attack anything.
is it suppose to or is it just for show?
